Global Cyber Security Initiative (GCSI) Conference

Organized in October 2016, GCSI was founded to address the SEC and FINRA’s annual ongoing areas of security concerns for their member firms. Since then we’ve brought together hundreds of CxOs and  other senior leaders from marquee companies like IBM, Morningstar, Blue Cross BlueShield, Gartner, Verizon, HSBC, Bank of America, Tempus, Wealthfront, VSEC, CNA Insurance, University of Chicago Medicine, Northern Trust, Paylocity, CISO Spotlight, onShore Security, Old Second National Bank, AT&T, and Kirkland & Ellis LLP in addition to federal, local, and academic leaders from the FBI, State of Illinois, Cook County, Illinois Institute of Technology, ISSA Chicago, IEEE-USA, and the Cyber Security Response Team at the University of Tulsa.

On December 7, 2021, we hosted our annual 2021 GSCI Conference from 1:00 p.m. CST to 5 p.m. CST at IIT Chicago – Kent College of Law (565 West Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661-3691).  The Global Cyber Security Initiative (GCSI), annual cyber security summit, co-hosted with Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Pan Asian American Business Council (PAABC).

Every year we bring together for this prestigious community recognized event nearly 200 leaders representing Senior Executives, CxOs and CISOs, Senior Security Officers and other senior cybersecurity professionals from a broad range of industries and business sectors. In addition, we have more than 20 prominent speakers scheduled together with the April 2023 conference at IIT downtown campus at Chicago – Kent College of Law. 

We kick-off the conference with a high-energy Keynote followed by a senior-leader panel discussion focused on Cybersecurity Strategic, Risk & Budgeting during post-pandemic times addressing current issues including labor shortages and supply chain challenges for highly regulated industries like Healthcare, Insurance and Finance.
